What is the booking process?
Once we have chatted via phone, email, text, or social media and I confirm my availability for your requested date, I will ask if you were able to review pricing. If you have not had a chance to look over pricing, I will send you my service menu which includes pricing for each service. When you confirm pricing is agreeable I will send you a contract. In order to book and secure your date I require a signed and completed contract along with a 25% deposit toward the total number of services.
Do you travel?
We mainly travel within Missouri as well as the DFW area for bookings. Maggie is also available for destination weddings and events.
What are your travel fees?
Our base travel fee is $40 per artist for sites within Columbia, MO. A customized travel rate will be provided for anywhere outside of Columbia and for destination events.
How long does an application typically take?
I recommend setting aside about an hour to an hour and a half for a trial.
For bridal parties, ideally, I like to schedule an hour with the bride and 45 minutes with each person in the bridal party. Applications usually take 30 to 45 minutes, but I prefer to schedule more time and finish early than be running behind.
For one on one event makeup I like to schedule an hour if you are a new client and 45 minutes if you are returning client.
Why should I book a trial/consultation?
Booking a trial allows your to see the look you are envisioning on yourself. This is also a time where your artist can offer suggestions on different looks and techniques. Most importantly this is your artist’s time to get to know your facial structure, skin type, and preferences. Booking a trial allows your artist the practice to make sure your wedding day runs as smoothly as possible !
What is your area of expertise?
We have honed in on “soft glam.” We love accentuating your beauty and still allowing you to look like yourself. However, we are able to provide natural glam, full glam, and dramatic makeup looks as well.
Do you do hair?
Unfortunately we do not offer hair services at this time. However, we are able to contract some of our favorite stylist for you or provide you with a list of preferred stylists.
